By 1988 the reservoir, named Little Seneca Lake, in the new Black Hill Park, Boyds, had completely and irreversibly changed the landscape. Concerts in the Country created and performed a pageant on the lake and shore, re-enacting its history . Some scenes include: the displacement of aboriginal inhabitants, both human and animal, by settlers, the 1833 meteor showers, and the building of the railroad.
